Reminders for Week 5 (Oct. 3-7)

Reminders: 

*Agendas go home daily. HOME folders will go home on Fridays and return on Mondays.
*Please write a note in their agenda if there is a change to their regular dismissal location. Front door is car pick-up and back door is walkers and Boys/Girls Club.
*OCTOBER BOOK-IT reading calendars are being sent home in Friday folders this week.  Students are encouraged to read for at least 20 minutes each day.  At the end of the month they can earn a Pizza Hut pizza reward by returning the calendar!  Yum!
*Wednesday, Oct. 12 we will be walking to the Holland Farmer's Market. Permission slips have been sent home with a request for 2 quarters.  If you still need to return, please do so.  We will also be reading a story about a farmer's market the week of our visit to the market.

*Wednesday, Sept. 28 is picture day.  Info is sent from the office.

*Wednesday, Oct. 12 we will be walking to the Holland Farmer's Market.  A permission slip and request for 2 quarters (to buy a little pumpkin from a vendor) is being sent home shortly. Please be looking out for it!  We will also be reading a story the week of Oct. 10 about a farmer's market.

Week 3 (Sept. 19-23)

Reminders 

9/19 and 9/20 there will be NWEA testing for about an hour each morning.  This data will be used to help create effective differentiated small groups and set individual academic goals for the year.
*Please send in only healthy morning snacks.  Please avoid juice because it can be messy. Thanks!
*Home folders will be going home on Fridays and return on Monday mornings.  Agendas will continue to go back and forth daily.

Week 2 (Sept. 12-16)

*If there is a change to their normal dismissal location, please leave us a note in the agendas.  Home folders will come home on Fridays and return on Mondays weekly.  
*If you'd like your child to have a morning snack, please send in a healthy snack each day.
*RESPECT is our virtue of the month.  
*Reading and Math Enrichment Block small groups, Access Time small groups, RTI, ELL, and Speech will all begin on Monday, Sept. 12. 
*We will be wrapping up with sharing our "Me-Sacks" next week as well.  It has been so much fun to hear the kids share about their favorite things!
