INFO Dec. 1-5

Reminders: 

*Self-Control is our Virtue for December.  
*Enrichment Blocks in Reading and Math are taking place M-Th each week. This allows for small group differentiated instruction twice each day.
*As we gain our stamina in independent work,we are also working with additional small groups each morning. RTI and ELL are also offering small group assistance during this time M-Th.
*Agendas and Take-Home Folders need to go home and back each day. Also, please sign your child's agenda each day. Agendas not signed results in a DOJO down.
*Weekly homework packets will go home on Monday and need to be completed and returned by Friday morning. No homework by the end of the week results in a DOJO down and homework may earn rewards!
*DECEMBER Book-It Calendars are going home Monday, Dec. 1.
*It is important to write a note in their agenda if there is a change to their regular dismissal location. Front door is car pick-up and back door is walkers and Boys/Girls Club.
*Looking Ahead... No School Dec. 22- Jan. 2 for our holiday vacation.  School resumes the morning of Jan. 5


MATH next Week (Dec. 1-5)
We will wrap up CH 3 with a test on Wednesday, Dec. 3.  Then we will begin CH 4 at the end of the week. Lessons include: Introduction to Tens Groupings & Exploring Teen Numbers.

READING next Week (Dec. 1-5)

We will be wrapping up our study on communities this week.  We fell behind with the snow days.  Then, we will begin an ECONOMICS Unit.

Nov. 24-25- Updated due to snow days!

*Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on the evening of Monday, Nov. 24 and the afternoon of Tuesday, Nov. 25 (which is a half day for the students). No School Nov. 26-28. 

***NO HOMEWORK PACKET for the holiday week!***


MATH next Week (Nov. 24-25)
We will be wrapping up our Chapter 3 Unit, but holding off on the review and test until after break. 

READING next Week (Nov. 24-25)
We will be using the short week to do some holiday writing and ELA activities.  We will also perform a Reader's Theatre in class.  ON MONDAY, we will also complete our weekly reading and spelling tests from the snow week.
